Senpai’s take
SequelsWorth a lookFall 2026Episode one makes a terrible impression, but the seemingly pretentious protagonist turned out to be a genuinely cool guy and the writing is 'high-key kind of genius.' It works as a horror comedy built around a guy women would actually want, which lets it skip straight to the fun stuff. Season 1 was a real good time and more of the same seems likely.
