The verdict
Senpai’s take
SequelsMust watchSummer 2025It looks like degenerate isekai slop, with scantily clad women around a 30-year-old in an 8-year-old's body. It is not an isekai, and it has a ton of fun with its magic-blasting little-kid action. For trash-loving viewers, it belongs unapologetically at the top of A tier regardless of appearances.
Worst of the seasonBad but funSummer 2025The shota battle classic returns with Lloyd skipping church work and beating up an angel for divine magic. Grimo is in rare form alongside a pervy idol-otaku angel co-mascot, the humor is on point and the battles are more intense than ever. The five dumpsters earned by season 1 are still burning bright.
