By chance, Yaiba returns to Japan, where he meets his rival Takeshi Onimaru, who has the same samurai spirit as Yaiba, in a new training ground. Season picksMust watchSpring 2025A modern readaptation of Gosho Aoyama's classic manga about a jungle-raised samurai kid who challenges Tokyo's kendo masters until one becomes a demon king. Pretty much dumb fun action for kids, but the off-the-wall animation led by Yoshimichi Kameda is so much fun that it reads as a compliment. Skip it for deep themes, watch it for stupid cool sword fights.
