Senpai’s take
Season picksMust watchFall 2024MAPPA's modern remake of the classic about a martial artist who turns into a girl and juggles fiancees thanks to his panda-transforming deadbeat dad. The colorful pop-art style is closer to Rumiko Takahashi's manga with fluid fights and gags, though it lacks some of the original's early cinematic flair. Still one of the greatest comedies ever written with a cast of lovable psychopaths, and the waifu war should reignite.
