Season picksMust watchSummer 2024Hojo Tokiyuki, last heir of the Kamakura shogunate, escapes a coup and uses his shonen-grade talent for running away to build a rebellion, guided by a sketchy priest who can partially see the future. A breathtaking CloverWorks adaptation of a hype Jump manga with some of the cleanest action scenes in recent memory and phenomenal character acting. An absolute triumph for every animator involved.
