Season picksWorth a lookSpring 2026A martial-arts noblewoman forced to find a husband moves in with her friend at a foreign noble school, where the villainess setup goes somewhere you will not guess. Fun storyboarding and great character acting maximize the huge personalities. Recommended for shojo and otome fans: it defies expectations at every turn.
Worst of the seasonBad but funSpring 2026Mimi, a disinherited martial arts heiress hunting for a husband, gets mistaken for her friend during the crown prince's fake bullying-accusation breakup, which turns out to be an elaborate sting on a drill-haired noble and her criminal father. The plot kills an impressive number of birds with one stone, and its massively charming cast makes for prime comfort slop.
