Bertia is reincarnated into her favorite otome game—not as the heroine, but as the villainess engaged to the perfect Crown Prince Cecil! Fully aware that her role is to sabotage his future romance, she’s determined to bloom as a wicked flower and wither away according to the story. But no matter how hard she tries to scheme, her “evil” plans only make her more endearing! Season picksWorth a lookSpring 2026The otome reincarnation story told from the bored genius prince's side, as his fiancee insists she will be the best villainess so he can end up with the heroine. A cute twist with many good jokes and a gorgeous art style. Not the best animation of the year.
Worst of the seasonBad but funSpring 2026A clever twist on the otome-game villainess genre told from the genius prince's view, as his fiancee's odd villain ambitions and eerie future predictions turn his boredom into obsession. An overarching mystery about why she wants to let him go sets it apart, though it still feels like a Bakarina clone minus the bisexual harem. The comedy-drama blend and eccentric cast are close enough to satisfy without complaint.
