Season picksDecentSummer 2025An isekai hero trades looks for stats as a literal game mechanic, plus debuffs like losing health when women touch him. It looks like incel slop, but the hero is well-adjusted and the party is nice and capable. Far less ugly inside than Shield Hero, with more fun animation.
Worst of the seasonBad but funSummer 2025A butt-ugly salaryman with a heart of gold trades looks for godlike stats and secretly uses them to help a party of fellow isekai escapees heal from their trauma, Detective Conan style. Hilarious, heartfelt and genuinely beautiful on a script level, the opposite of the incel revenge fantasy it looks like. The art style is an acquired taste and the animation is sparse: two baskets of rolls.
