Born into a prestigious family of master swordsmen, Elymas Edvaughn’s future shatters when he awakens the so-called “defective” Heavy Knight class. Disowned and cast out, he regains memories of another life—and realizes this world mirrors a VR game he once mastered. Armed with knowledge no one else possesses, he sets out to rewrite his fate and prove the strength of the “weakest” class.

Season picksDecentSummer 2026GoHands, the best worst studio, finally makes one of these power-fantasy shows, complete with their batshit-insane filmmaking style and the hottest ruin-the-main-character's-life villainess in anime. So-bad-it's-good territory.
Worst of the seasonSkipSummer 2026Number slop with a motion-sickness-inducing Gohands style and more reused footage than a One Piece arc, though the progression itself is surprisingly satisfying. Its biggest sin is introducing one of the hottest women in anime, Malice, and doing almost nothing with her. The clown wife is cute and fun, but it feels like a bait and switch.
