In the 2nd STAGE, a desert crossing spanning roughly 750 miles- the land that Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli must challenge, is home to the area that is feared as the "Devil's Palm." In 1875, a threat lurking in said desert wiped out a cavalry of 26 people, eliciting fear from the local native people. As ominous incidents begin to unfold, they are forced to realize that this race is far more than a mere competition. The two press forward, where countless hidden motives collide..
The verdict
Season picksMust watchFall 2026The long-awaited adaptation of Part 7, the best part of one of the greatest manga ever. Immaculate casting, stunning pseudoscience battles, best-in-class horse animation and tighter pacing at the cost of some thematic meat; the OP is great, the ED less so. A clean timeline reboot that newcomers can jump into cold, assuming David Production does not mess it up.
SequelsMust watchFall 2026The best part of JoJo is finally a weekly anime on Netflix and works as a standalone reboot despite being a sequel. Dropping the tradition of Western songs that inspired Araki for its ending is annoying, but cannot dull the excitement.
SequelsWorth a lookSpring 2026A better use of your time than Classroom of the Elite, with better mind games, as a new season just dropped on Netflix.
