Years after graduating from high school, Kaguya Shinomiya finds her old photo album and reminisces about when she was a part of Shuuchiin Academy's student council. At the time, Kaguya had just started dating the president Miyuki Shirogane, and the two were hopelessly in love. With each wholesome and silly memory from their past, Kaguya is filled with bliss. (Source: MAL Rewrite) Note: The anime first premiered in Japan as a TV Special, and was later split into 2 episodes on streaming.

SequelsMust watchWinter 2026This New Year's Eve special continues the Kaguya and Miyuki romance. Any new Kaguya at all is exciting, though it skips the manga's back-end material that would have fleshed out Ishigami and Hayasaka. What it does adapt looks as beautiful as any fan could ask, so catch up, especially with a final-chapter film announced. Also read the rest of the manga and the fan-girl spin-off.
