The verdict

Senpai’s take

SequelsDecentSpring 2026
Season 1 of the first Western web novel adaptation drew backlash for rushed, barely animated visuals, partly fueled by sky-high expectations. Season 2 at least looks animated, but the story is a slog in both anime and audiobook, 'Mushoku Tensei at home' early on, with little reason to continue despite claims it gets better.
