Utage Kinoshita is a high school girl who works part-time as a housekeeper. She has devoted her life to her favorite idol, Tamon Fukuhara, from the group F/ACE. Then one day, Utage ends up being assigned to Tamon’s house! There she discovers that off-stage, he is nothing like his wild idol persona. A gloomy, introverted boy with no self-confidence, Utage still finds herself falling for him anyway.

Season picksMust watchWinter 2026An idol fangirl takes a housekeeping job to fund her merch habit and ends up in her oshi's apartment, where he is a gloomy ball of anxiety offstage, and she starts to find that version cuter. The quick timing, gag-driven storyboarding and fluid animation shine, especially the 3D dance scenes. As hilarious as it is heartwarming, a strong contender for the season's funniest and sweetest romcom.
