Denji became “Chainsaw Man”, a boy with a devil’s heart, and is now part of Special Division 4’s devil hunters. After a date with Makima, the woman of his dreams, Denji takes shelter from the rain. There he meets Reze, a girl who works in a café.

The verdict
Senpai’s take
SequelsMust watchSummer 2025Unequivocally S tier. Manga readers know this arc is where Chainsaw Man gets really good, and MAPPA is giving it feature-film polish, making it a theatrical experience not to miss. The anime is very good, if nowhere near as ingenious as the manga, so catching up is a few entertaining hours.
