Senpai’s take
Season picksMust watchFall 2024A job-hunting grad with a photographic memory is recruited by a scrappy magical girl startup in a Tokyo where hundreds of corporate brands fight monsters. Clever worldbuilding with mass-produced wands and engineers tuning transformation particle effects complements sharp satire of Japanese corporate culture and a loving send-up of magical girl tropes. Slick animation and a delightful premise.
