Senpai’s take
Worst of the seasonSkipSummer 2024A boy wakes in an alternate timeline where humanity lost the race war, and the show wants sympathy for humans who no longer got to finish their genocide. The protagonist idolizes the hero who supposedly did it, the angel love interest looks more generic than a parody, and the animation is rough. The light novel twists may complicate things, but it hedges at two trash cans full of tomato sauce and safety scissors.
