The Aquarion, a giant mechanized fighting suit, is humanity’s best weapon against interstellar threats. Human pilots trained and worked together to defeat Shadow Angels, invading Abductors, and kinetic energy monsters over thousands of years. Once again, humanity must turn to the Aquarion. With the fate of the Earth hanging in the balance, will the suit be enough to save mankind?

Season picksDecentWinter 2025A giant robot reboot that is hard to recommend so far, with a slow-burn first episode, cutesy designs that clash with its apocalyptic tone and stiff animation. Its surreal script full of philosophical ideas, from a screenwriter shared with Millennium Actress and Perfect Blue, could lead to a satisfying payoff. Worth keeping an eye on as a possible sleeper hit; the three episode test was made for it.
