Season picksMust watchSpring 2024A slice of life in the truest sense, weaving vignettes of yokai and humans in a mystical small town, from a newborn cat spirit doing government paperwork to a girl wishing her missing father were dead so he could visit as a ghost. Mostly cozy with darkness lurking at the edges, the right tone to make contemporary magic feel real. Invites welcome comparisons to Natsume's Book of Friends while using yokai to show everyone is going through it in their own way.
