Worst of the seasonBad but funFall 2025Navel-gazing, self-aware slop about Japan's youngest indie game producer fixing manic pixie dream girl classmates, with wildly out-of-pocket subplots like fake-dating his cousin and blackmailing his teacher. Far too much going on for any romcom thread to land, and the big twist is guessable from episode 1. Characters act like psychotic aliens, but it beats therapy: three flaming dumpsters.
