Season picksMust watchSummer 2026Two rival prodigies, Jan and Kiriko, heirs to Chinese food dynasties, under one kitchen roof after Jan's grandfather sets himself on fire over damaged taste buds. She cooks out of love, he cooks to crush. Directed by Ei Aoki (Fate/Zero) so every chop and flick of the pan hits like a Kamehameha, with no fanservice or bread puns needed. Adapts a classic 1995 manga and dares you to say it did not cook.
