When high schooler Mari bumps into a fellow tardy student, she's surprised to find out he's a beastfolk who's to attend her school! After all, it's not rare for beastfolk to coexist alongside humans, but it's still uncommon, with the prejudice and all. Nervous to meet one at first, Mari soon learns there's more to him than his furry exterior. In fact, the more she gets to know him, the more she finds herself drawn to him, his steadfastness, his kindheartedness, and…his body…

Season picksMust watchFall 2025In an alternate Japan, a dog-boy beastman transfers to a human school, faces prejudice and falls for a sweet human classmate. Gorgeously animated and brilliantly storyboarded with legitimately fantastic urban fantasy worldbuilding, and it gets freaky fast for those who found the other shojo too wholesome. Everyone should give it a shot, not just people fine with the furry angle.
Worst of the seasonBad but funFall 2025A dog-boy aspiring doctor faces anti-beastfolk racism and falls for a very open-minded human classmate, and the prequel was an 18+ web manga. It is 95% pure doki-doki shojo floof and 5% freaky, and for the freaks that 5% is everything. Three fursuiters on a smoke break by a normal dumpster.
