Senpai’s take
Worst of the seasonSkipWinter 2025A half-baked anime of a half-baked monster-farming JRPG with Hiro Mashima designs and no other selling points beyond some goofy monsters posed in the background. The story is a barely comprehensible jumble of fantasy nouns around a political thriller written by a five-year-old, padded with jokes, led by a yappy, arrogant brat who makes Asta look medicated. One beat-up trash can of bootleg Monster Rancher knockoffs.
