Long ago, the most ancient of divine dragons was slain by a human. The mighty dragon accepted its death when suddenly, it was reborn as Dolan, a man who lives in a quiet village. While spending another peaceful day toiling in the fields, he meets Celina, a half-human, half-snake creature looking for a partner. The unlikely duo become friends, but challenges lie ahead that threaten their new bond.

Season picksDecentFall 2024A lonely dragon murdered by humans is reincarnated as a regular human who hides his power while adventuring. Surprisingly deep worldbuilding around monster genealogy and magic ecosystems, short of Dungeon Meshi but impressive, with likable characters, though the hero being named Dolan is hard to get past.
Worst of the seasonBad but funFall 2024A lonely ancient dragon is reborn as a human named Dolan in a surprisingly well-built world of village customs, inter-race relations and magic ecosystems, despite low-rent visuals. It plays as cozy slow-life romance with a lamia girl, until a cow-beastwoman milk bit reveals some Totally Spies-level fetish smuggling. Two barrels full of that guy's wife's milk.
