Ms. Elf is intrigued by Japanese culture?! Working adult Kitase Kazuhiro’s hobby is sleeping. Ever since he was a child, he’s had exciting adventures in the mysterious other world he dreams about. One day, while exploring ancient ruins with an elf girl he befriended, he is unfortunately burned by the breath of a magic dragon he encounters. When he awakens from his dream, an elf girl who shouldn’t be in his room is sleeping next to him…

Season picksDecentWinter 2025A salaryman who visits a fantasy world in his dreams accidentally brings his elf companion back to his real bed. After the setup it settles into a wholesome culture-shock show of an elf discovering skyscrapers and Japanese food. An adorable, barely disguised tourism commercial with likable characters and a refreshing angle on isekai.
Worst of the seasonBad but funWinter 2025A cute elf acclimates to modern Japan through a dream portal in her salaryman husband's head, plus dungeon trips and a busty dragon mommy who steals the booze. More cozy elf-cuddling fantasy than hot and heavy, which makes it the perfect appetizer: a self-indulgent morsel of wish fulfillment with just a hint of spice. Two bread baskets of fresh garlic baguette.
