The verdict
Season picksDecentFall 2024A Reddit-atheist student moves into a shrine and is told by the head priest to marry one of three sisters. A pretty decent example of classic early-2000s ecchi harem nonsense with very nice animation, though not enough to shake the feeling it has all been seen before.
Worst of the seasonBad but funFall 2024A med-school hopeful must marry one of three shrine-maiden sisters to keep living at their shrine. It starts as a by-the-numbers harem, well animated with writing that carries real life wisdom, then gradually escalates into supernatural mysteries, with hints at a true harem ending for the connoisseurs. Three oil drums blazing under a cozy underpass.
