Season picksMust watchSpring 2024A surreal rail odyssey across a post-apocalyptic Japan broken by experimental 7G wireless, as four girls from a village where people turn into animals at 21 set out to find a missing friend. From the writer-director pairing behind Shirobako and The Magnificent Kotobuki, it brims with heart, charm and wit. The breathtakingly surreal animation is what sakuga nerds live for.
